A person knows herself but has a hard time putting it into words. That is why I asked friends who have known me for a long time, friends who met me recently, coachees who I have been coaching for about 12 years, to professional coaches I have trained, to executives at companies I have worked with, to my dear students that I have raised in my quarter-century academic life: "What are the 5 words that describe me? Can you tell me what comes to your mind?" The answers I received told me that I knew, forgot, and were not aware of myself. It would be too long to write each one here. Sharing some of the common ones may be enough for you to at least know me. The first of the common answers I received; "strong". Then brave, honest, accommodating, friendly, hardworking, wise, patient, reassuring, entertaining, competent, leader, sincere, innovative, conscientious, helpful, noble, super mother, elegance, intelligence, fair, modest, self-confident. A teacher who cannot fit in 5 words, free, creative, pure, knowledge cube, a good listener, idol, existing, humanist, entrepreneur, fair…. Every word I have read many times carries the experiences that leave a mark on the ups and downs of life. The important thing is to manage life in these ups and downs. It was not easy but I learned. Now it's time to share .....

Civil Engineer, Ph.D. | Hydrologist | Water Resources Management Expert
ICF_Professional Certified Coach | NLP_ Master Trainer | Breathing Coach | Advanced Master Trainer | ICF_Mentor Coach | Career Coach
In my academic life, which I started as an assistant in Civil Engineering Water Resources Department in 1993, I prepared many national and international articles on flood modeling, drought, climate change, hydraulics, hydrology and water resources management. I taught abroad as part of the European Union Erasmus program. I worked at Michigan Technological University for my Tübitak supported project to do research after PhD. My dear students are the only reason I have overcome working almost 25 hours a day and why I am still in academic life. It is always my strongest passion to give hundreds of students both academic knowledge and a vision of life!
You may be wondering how I have the areas of expertise on the left since I was progressing in the field of engineering. Although the story is long; The most important reason is my daughter. The entrance exam from middle school to high school (in our time: SBS) was 3 years in a row, not one year like it was in the past. I did not want to drag my daughter from lesson to lesson, from school to classroom in this huge 3-year stressful period. I was a student coach first. What I learned has reached a different dimension with academic research. In addition to trainings on coaching that I attended with great curiosity and enthusiasm, I also participated in many other trainings such as NLP, Leadership, Training of the Trainers, Breath Coaching. I started coaching my university students after class. Then my nephews and their friends. In no time, coaching became my greatest passion!
